Preparing for Christmas

I enjoyed my 50-mile race and its related post so much that I've let it linger there for quite a while, but it's time to move on! Christmas is right around the corner and we just got a tree this weekend. It's a sub-zero weekend in Chicago so it took a day for the tree to thaw out, but we finally got to decorating it this evening with the kids. I think this is the first year that we've trimmed the tree with little ones that hasn't involved broken ornaments, so they must be growing up fast. :-)

And speaking of fast, here's a fun little time-lapse sequence of us decorating the tree. Enjoy!

What a nifty little video! Love how for a lot of it most of the family is sitting on the couch supervising. ;)

The good news is that your tree won't be old and tired and dropping needles on Christmas morning! Merry Christmas!

Adam - that was a great little video. Thanks for sharing! (though the "we" trimming the tree might be a little loose - seemed to be a lot of Adam and a lot of kids on the couch!)

miss you all - grace and peace to you this Christmas!
Andy
