The Big Cut
Last June, Katie decided to grow her hair in order to donate it to Locks of Love. She was very determined, so we supported her decision and encouraged her along the way. We talked often about why she wanted to do this and who would benefit from her pretty locks. By the end of March, she had the 10 inches she needed in order to donate. Our whole family went to KidSnips to witness The Big Cut! KidSnips will send the hair to Locks of Love and do a haircut all for free. The photos below tell the story....

Katie looks beautiful, and I have to confess I'm glad she's back to short hair-that long hair just made her look too old (though I do think it was also very pretty:-)
