We hope you're enjoying the anticipation of Christmas. Our kids are so excited about Christmas and we're all looking forward to a special day together. Getting Ready for Christmas

Every year we read the "Doors Book" (really called The Advent Book) with the kids during our family worship time each day in December. We're reading it again and the kids are loving it. The book is all direct quotations from Scripture (mostly Luke) and tells the Christmas story very well. It's amazing how quickly they memorize the verses and how much they understand. On December 1 we read just the first page. On December 2 we read the first two pages, and so on. Then on Christmas day we read all 25 pages.



The book is a bit difficult to find, but can be purchased online if you're interested.
