Help Adam Help Orphans

In 10 days (July 28-29) I'm (Adam) is going to run a 100-mile trail ultramarathon in Ohio http://burningriver100.org and I can’t wait. My training has gone really well. I’ve lost 20 pounds, trained almost 1500 miles since January 1, and feel great!

As a part of this huge goal I hope to raise $10,000 ($100 per mile) for child adoption grants and I’m teaming up with an organization called Show Hope http://www.showhope.org. Adoption regularly costs $10,000-45,000 including home studies, legal costs, and travel. Unfortunately, these costs are so high that it frequently prohibits or slows families from bringing hope, love, and family to a child. Show Hope cares for orphans in many ways, including adoption grants for families who want to adopt children, especially children with disabilities.

We believe in what Show Hope does, know families who have been blessed by their work, and give our own money to this cause.

Will you join me and inspire me to finish this 100-mile ultramarathon by making a donation to Show Hope?
  1. Visit http://www.showhope.org/Donate.aspx, click Adoption Aid, and enter your donation.
  2. There’s no easy way for me to track sponsors, so if you decide to make a donation please email me (or forward the donation confirmation email) to let me know about your donation so I can track progress and thank you for your generosity.

Thanks for your support,
Adam
